Double wall high density polyethylene (HDPE) corrugated pipes are formed by two perfectly joined layers, welded in-line by an automated process:

- External corrugated layer, ring-shaped: gives pipes a great resistance to crushing.
- Internal smooth layer: makes sliding the electric cable easier.
